In 1958 Bert’s Vacuum opened on Aberdeen Street. The small repair and sales shop has had many changes since. It moved locations to Maple Avenue for a short period in the 1970s and then to its current location on South Railway Street in 1979. After 62 years Bert’s has evolved from a small vacuum shop to an inviting place to shop all things cleaning. The product offering has expanded from just vacuums to include professional floor care equipment and janitorial supplies. Services have expanded to not just repair vacuums; but, to also to repair floor care equipment and install central vacuum systems. Rentals have been streamlined to carpet cleaners and vacuums. The showroom has been opened up and modernized. We are proud to offer a first-class experience and invite you to come check us out!
